After you have scheduled your appointment, we will contact you via phone/text to discuss the DNA process, complete your intake form, as well as to confirm the location for your upcoming appointment. Please respond to call/text ASAP, so that we can properly prepare you for your appointment
PAYMENT POLICY
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to schedule your appointment. All appointments must be paid in full at the time of appointment, or your appointment will be canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited. Your deposit and payment are NON-TRANSFERRABLE. Meaning it cannot be applied toward another party's balance. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.
GRACE PERIOD/MISSED APPOINTMENTS/ RESCHEDULES
ALL appointments are given a 15-minute GRACE PERIOD, without notice and a 30-minute GRACE PERIOD with notice. If you arrive after the allotted grace period, you may have to reschedule and pay a rescheduling fee of $50. If you need to reschedule with at least 4 hour or more notice, your deposit can be applied towards service reschedule. The rescheduled date must be within 30 days of your original appointment date.
SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS
Same-day appointments may be available.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
Newpath Services - DNA Testing and its employees have the right to refuse service, if at any time we feel our safety may be in question. If you refuse to follow our instructions or refuse to cooperate before or during your appointment, your appointment will be canceled, and your payment will be forfeited. If we have a valid reason for refusing your service due to your actions, or the actions of anyone in your party/environment, you forfeit 100% of your payment and will be banned from booking future services with Newpath Services - DNA Testing.
MILEAGE AND FEES
Our goal is to make this experience as convenient as possible. We will travel up to 40 miles to perform your DNA test. There is a mileage charge for all mobile services outside of the 40-mile radius. Our standard mileage rate is .67 cents. An invoice for the mileage fee will be sent to you the day before your appointment and must be paid before your appointment is confirmed. To avoid mileage fees, we will work with you to find a convenient location within the 40-mile radius.
MEETING LOCATION
All meeting locations must be public. Testing within your residential location will NOT be approved. Please contact us if you have any location concerns.
RESULTS
Turnaround time for results is based on your appointment day and time. Any tests performed after 5pm Monday through Friday will be sent to the lab the morning of the following business day. Tests performed on the weekend will be sent to the lab on the morning of the next business day. If a test is performed on a holiday, the test will be sent to the lab the next business day. When selecting "Express or Next-Day Results", please keep in mind that some labs are NOT open on the weekends and holidays. Although the lab will still expedite your results once received, this can extend your turnaround time.
If your results come back inconclusive, you will have to pay a re-test fee. The fee will be determined based on the type of test you require.
